June Goals [2015]

Before I start my post, I wanted to say rest in peace to the family from my hometown who were found dead in their home Sunday night. The little boy was only six years old. I didn't know them, but it's heartbreaking. This occurred right next to my neighborhood, so I'm worried for my parents and all other residents of my town. I hope the mystery is solved quickly.

I keep seeing more and more bloggers posting their monthly goals and I feel like it will really motivate me to get stuff done if I have to update my progress publicly. I'm a little late to the party for this month, but I really didn't want to wait until July! As of now I've already completed some of these things, but they were goals in my head before I did them, so I'm just going to list them here anyway.

Wedding Invitations
Our wedding isn't until October 10th, but a huge portion of our guests are from out of town (mostly in California or the Midwest). Michael's dad has a lot of siblings and they all have spouses and kids of their own. If every single person we're inviting ended up coming (which, of course, won't happen) we would be over capacity in the reception space. So we want to get out some invites, especially for the large families and out-of-towners so we can get some RSVP's back early, because we may have to withhold some plus ones from some people if we get a lot of RSVP's!

Reading
I want to finish reading Three Wishes and also read The Girl on the Train.

Exercise
My plan is to work out three to four times a week (this goal started June 6th...it was too hectic before then!). I'm hoping for four but three will still satisfy my goal requirement.

Meal Prep & Healthy Eating
My five days off for my bridal shower were extremely unhealthy. Since we've been back home, Michael and I have been eating much healthier. We didn't meal prep the first week of June (since I didn't get back until late Tuesday night), but I hope to prep healthy weekday lunches all remaining weeks and eat mostly healthy meals with only periodic cheats.

No More Shopping!
I've already made some clothing purchases in June (which you'll see in my budget post at the end of the month!), but I am going to try my hardest not to purchase anything else. I've purchased four items. It's going to be hard because the calling of those palm print shorts from yesterday's post is strong.

I feel like these are pretty simple goals, so I'm hoping I can knock them all out of the park! I hope everyone else is doing well on their goals so far this month!
